Enough is enough!

I think many will agree with me that since both presidential candidates announced their running mates this election has heated up. And it got even hotter when Gov. Sarah Palin stepped into the picture.

She is the real deal, down to earth and is the type of woman we need to see take the reigns of this country.

However, I am having some major issues with how she is being treated by the media and naive Americans.

I think that it is absolute bullshit that we are questioning her ability to serve as vice president of this country because she is a mother. Shame on EVERY asshole out there who is questioning her on that, instead of her policies and beliefs.

Maybe Barack Obama shouldn't run for president because he has 2 little girls!?

Back in the 70's Joe Biden's wife and 3 children were in a car accident. His wife and one of the kids died and as his other 2 sons lay in a hospital bed recovering from the accident and the loss of their mother and sibling, Joe Biden was sworn into the senate at their bedside. Why wasn't he motherfucked for putting his career ahead of his family? Oh wait, I know ... it is because he is a man!

And lets discuss the pregnancy surrounding the Palin family. Yes, the oldest daughter, Bristol, is pregnant. People say Gov. Palin hasn't discussed the issue and guess what, she doesn't have to. By saying in her speech at the convention that "we have ups and downs like any family," she acknowledged the issue. By having the father of Bristol's baby in the audience, she was acknowledging that that are accepting and will ge through this.

I still don't know who will receive my vote in November, but from now until then the focus needs to be on this country and the direction it is taking and not her personal life. She has what it takes to lead and I am feeling the Palin Pride!!
